You may choose to remove trees for a variety of reasons. Perhaps due to poor location, property structural problems, if the tree is damaged or diseased, or perhaps for appearance reasons. You may also opt for the removal of trees due to requiring clearance of an area on your property. We can assess the tree, and the surrounding area, in order to determine the safest and most efficient way for the removal.
Tree pruning is an excellent way to maintain the overall health of your trees. it can also improve the appearance and access to certain areas of your yard. Pruning trees not only eradicates the risk of limbs dropping and causing damage, but also reduces the issue of leaves building up in gutters or on roofs.
We can chip the wood from your trees on-site and take it away with us which means no mess for you. Alternatively, you may opt to keep the wood chip on-site for your gardens. We can also chip up branches from pruning work you have under taken yourself.
Stump grinding is a tree care service that involves using specialized equipment to remove the stump of a tree that has been cut down. The grinding process breaks the stump into small wood chips, allowing the area to be levelled and prepared for new plantings or landscaping. This service is chosen for many reasons, including aesthetic improvement, safety, preventing new growth, pest control, and creating new space for planting/landscaping.
Damage to underground services or any underground property (such as but not limited to water, gas, sewerage, fuel, electric, or telephone) during the undertaking of stump grinding will not be the responsibility of our service. Due to the potential hazards associated with stump grinding operations, we ask that the customer to provide us with written confirmation that underground utilities of any kind are not located within the grind space. This can be provided by the utility locating authority (BYDA) prior to the work commencing. Doing so will alleviate the risk of any damage occurring.
Stump grinding may not be carried out on the same day as the tree work is completed. We will endeavour to have stump grinding carried out as soon as possible following the tree work, or at a time agreed upon by both contractor and customer. Stump grinding depths can vary on client requests. If the client has not provided information on the depth, then a general depth of 6 inches is carried out. Depth can also vary on restrictions of area to be ground- eg: cables, pipes, etc.
Stump grinding remains are not disposed of unless negotiated prior with our service and will incur an additional cost
To purchase mulch, please fill out an enquiry form and the team will contact you when we have mulch available. As we do not stock pile mulch, and it is sold directly off of our truck, there may be a wait time involved. The price per 10 cubic metre load is $165.00 inc GST.
